Welcome
to the former homepage of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of
Goshen, Indiana.
We are moving
to a new website!
Church news: For those that didn't know, Pastor Jack DeVault
expressed his wishes to the church to retire as the pastor of Apostolic
Pentecostal Church of Goshen in early 2005. A majority of members of
the church voted to bring in someone from outside of the local assembly
for the pastorship. During spring, summer, and into fall, a selection
committee then brought in candidates to preach and interview. After
the voting process on the pool of candidates, Bro. Michael Curton emerged
as the new pastor in October.
Rev. Michael Curton had been pastoring in Fenton, Michigan. He is licensed
with the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ organization. Originally,
Bro. Curton came from the church of Roland Baker, who has been featured
in IBC Perspectives magazine. Bro. DeVault has been promoted
to bishop in the assembly and is the pastor emeritus or senior pastor
of the church now.
Over the last several months we have been busy reorganizing various
departments and functions of the church. Please continue to pray for
our church as we go through this transition. I will probably not be
updating this site any more. To go to the new site click
